The fourth-generation iPhone SE will offer a series of major improvements over the current model, according to a leaker known as “Ice Universe”.
The details were listed in a post on Weibo, which also detailed the specifications of the iPhone 17. As rumored, the fourth-generation iPhone SE is expected to have Face ID and USB-C, which mark a major upgrade from the current and previous models that featured a Touch ID Home button and Lightning port.
The display of the device will grow in size from 4.7 to 6.06 inches and have an OLED component for the first time. The new iPhone SE is also expected to feature the same A18 chip as the iPhone 16 lineup, 6GB to 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, an aluminum chassis, and a single 48-megapixel rear camera. The fourth-generation iPhone SE is expected to launch between March and May 2025 with a price tag of $499 to $549. The current model launched in March 2022 for $429.
